Covid-19 Health Information

Our priorities are the safety and well-being of everyone using Domaine du Limier

In accordance with government recommendations in force, we are reinforcing our already robust cleaning and disinfection procedures. We are committed to ensuring the application of directives and recommendations of public authorities promoting preventative measures in the fight against Covid-19.

Use and make available disinfectant products 

Hydro alcoholic solution (hand sanitiser) is available on the reception desk, at the entrances to the dining room, and at the door leading from the guest rooms to the public areas. You are requested to use it each time you enter the house and before you move around the public areas of the guest house.

Liquid soap is available in each bath room.

Barrier gestures and recommendations should be respected by all guests

Barrier gestures to be followed include (but are not limited to) wearing face masks and observing physical distancing protocols during arrival, departure and meal services and when moving around the Public areas of the guest house. Guests are requested to bring their own face masks.

Wherever possible communications, payments and invoices will be effected using contactless methods.

Cleaning and disinfection of bedrooms and common areas

We do our own cleaning according to strict hygiene rules.

Your bedroom is completely cleaned before your arrival.  The enhanced cleaning routine prior to your arrival includes the disinfection of all surfaces of contact: sanitary facilities, sinks, showers, rubbish bins, handles, switches, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, keys, uncarpeted floors. Different washable and/or disposable wipes are used to clean each room.

Bedroom windows will be opened for at least one hour prior to your arrival to ensure good ventilation of the room before your stay. 

As with the bedrooms, great care is taken in cleaning and disinfecting the public areas for the safety of our guests, with the same cleaning protocol applied as for our guest rooms.  Handrails are disinfected prior to each stay and and at least once a day during each guest stay. Carpets in public areas are vacuumed and the vacuum filter is cleaned after each pass. Different washable and/or disposable wipes are used to clean public areas.

Laundry care - room linen and dining room place mats

Sheets, duvet covers, mattress covers, pillow covers and pillowcases, as well as towels and linen dinner mats are washed at 60 °c (or at the highest temperature recommended by the manufacturer) over a complete washing cycle.

Clean linen never comes into contact with dirty linen at any time during the process of drying, ironing and storage.

Plastic breakfast place mats are disinfected after each use.

Preparation of breakfast and evening meals

Food served to guests is prepared under usual hygienic conditions which are already very strict. To these we have added the regular disinfection of any contact surfaces. We will also wear face masks and gloves during the preparation and service of breakfast and evening meals.


If you feel unwell

For the health and safety of everyone, it is imperative that we are informed if you or anybody on your booking reports symptoms during your stay with us, or in the following 14 days after your departure.

If anybody on your booking is unwell or exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 on, or prior to, your planned arrival date, please follow the guidance of the relevant public authorities on self isolation and do not travel to the accommodation.
